A library full of stories, and one random page that told theirs.
Marissa and Dylan are another one of my 2027 couples, and their engagement session at the Kennewick Library was as sweet as they are. We tucked ourselves between the shelves for cozy, intimate moments surrounded by books, then headed outside for soft evening light along the tree-lined paths. These two laugh easily and love openly, and it shows in every frame.
Then something a little bit magical happened. While we were in the stacks, I pulled a random book off the shelf for ring photos and opened it to a poem about running to the ocean in the middle of the night to confess your love. I loved the words and set the ring right on the page, not knowing a thing about their story. It wasn’t until later that I found out Dylan had proposed to Marissa on the beach. Out of all the books on all those shelves, that was the page we landed on. I truly don’t think that was a coincidence.
Marissa and Dylan, I’m so excited to be part of your wedding day in 2027. Your story is already a beautiful one, and I can’t wait to help tell the next chapter.
