Rain, fog, and a love story that didn’t need the mountain to shine.
Lacee and Johnny chose Reflection Lakes at Mount Rainier for their elopement, picturing that iconic view of the mountain mirrored in the water. Mother Nature had other plans. Rain rolled in, fog settled over the peaks, and the mountain stayed completely hidden all day. But sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate, and that’s when you pivot, get creative, and make the day your own.
And that’s exactly what we did. Surrounded by misty evergreens and the quiet, silver lake, we wandered the trails, cozied up on weathered logs, and laughed our way through the raindrops. Lacee twirled in her flowing tulle gown, Johnny couldn’t take his eyes off her, and the soft, moody light gave every image a dreamy, storybook feel.
This day was a beautiful reminder that a wedding isn’t about perfect conditions. It’s about two people choosing each other, no matter what. Lacee and Johnny, thank you for embracing every drop of rain with joy. Your love made the day unforgettable.
