Jo’s blooming
new chapter
MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON
THE PARTICULARS
Lace, cowboy boots, and a whole garden in bloom for a senior who isn’t afraid of hard work.
Jo’s senior session was one of the sweetest afternoons of my summer. We spent it in Kalahan’s flower garden (of Kalahan & Sean Photography), surrounded by climbing greenery and rows of bright blooms, with a vintage pink chair, her cowboy hat, and a whole lot of sunshine. Jo brought her own easy, down-to-earth style, and it fit the setting perfectly: soft lace paired with her favorite jeans, boots, and belt buckle.
Jo is a senior at Wenatchee High School, and she already knows exactly where she’s headed. She wants to become a lineman, and she’s spent time interning with Grant PUD to get a real feel for the work. She loves being hands-on and isn’t afraid of a challenge, and you can see that same confidence and grit in her photos.
Jo, it was such a joy to spend this time with you and celebrate this season of your life. I can’t wait to see where your path takes you. Congratulations, Class of 2026!
There's something special about standing on the edge of everything that's still to come. The excitement, the uncertainty, the dreams, and all the little things that make you who you are right now.
Whether you're happiest among the flowers, exploring somewhere new, or laughing until your cheeks hurt, I'd love to capture this season exactly as it feels. Because someday, these photographs will remind you of the person you were just before you grew up.
I can’t wait to meet you.
Before the next chapter begins, let's remember this one.
SHALL WE TELL YOUR STORY?
