Barbie & Ken’s
electric love affair
VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON
THE PARTICULARS
A rooftop, a vintage ride, and a whole lot of pink.
Barbie and Ken said “I do” somewhere most people only go to find a parking spot: the rooftop of a downtown Vancouver, Washington parking garage. With the city stretched out around them and open sky overhead, the concrete became the perfect canvas for a celebration that was bold, playful, and completely their own. Heart-shaped sunglasses, a hot pink veil, and a red bow tie set the tone for a day that never took itself too seriously.
What made this wedding so special were the pieces that came from family. The florals were designed by the bride’s own family, and every bloom felt like it carried a little extra love. The showstopping vintage car belonged to the bride’s grandfather. Watching Barbie lean out the window of the same car he once drove, with Ken beside her, was one of those moments that ties generations together without anyone saying a word.
Days like this remind me why I love what I do. When a couple brings their personality and their people into every detail, the images feel honest, joyful, and full of life. Thank you, Barbie and Ken, for letting me be part of your story and for proving that a parking garage can be the most beautiful place in the city.
Every love story deserves to be remembered just as beautifully as it was lived.
AND WHAT OF YOUR STORY?
If something in these photographs felt familiar, the laughter, the quiet moments, the way two people can make an entire world out of one another. I’d love to hear about your story, too.
Consider this your invitation to write me. Tell me who you are, who you love, and what you never want to forget.
I can’t wait to meet you.
